Abstract:

Drawing upon organizational justice theories, this paper proposes a conceptual framework for
understanding the psychological processes that employees go through when evaluating the fairness of
their organization's human resource practices. Specifically, this paper articulates (a) the effects of
perceived fairness of internal human resource practices; and (b) the mechanisms through which these
perceptions can be modified.
