Abstract:

This paper aims at providing an entrepreneurial strategy for the prosperity of the American economy. A
theoretical explanation of the business cycle is provided, and evidence is brought to substantiate the
explanation of the Great Recession of December 2007. Based on this sound theoretical and empirical
background, an entrepreneurial strategy is provided for the prosperity of the American economy.
Essentially, this strategy contains various components aiming at increasing revenues and decreasing
costs of the American business economy. Consistent with these two goals, investments, employment,
income of the American people, and government tax revenues will be significantly increasing.
