Abstract:

Infrastructure, physical assets like airports, bridges, and railroads is a fairly new asset class that has
emerged over the past few years. Institutional investors such as mutual funds and pensions have been
adding this asset class to their portfolios slowly, but increasingly. This paper examines the growth of
these investments in institutional portfolios over the past several years.
